Volunteers needed Nov. 8 to set up Ream display

Terry Mullenhour, chair of the Bluffton cultural affairs committee, invites any interested resident to help place the Ream holiday folk art display pieces on the Presbyterian Church lawn next month.

The set up is Saturday morning, Nov. 8. Mullenhours said volunteers can bring hammers and screwdrivers and be ready to help place the pieces in the yard for the 2014 Blaze of Lights season.

Bluffton University alumni go toCedar Point

BLUFFTON, Ohio—The Bluffton University alumni office will host an Oct. 25 gathering for alumni at Cedar Point.

Following a complimentary lunch at 11 a.m.—when alumni can hear updates from campus and current students—the amusement park will offer discounted rates to Bluffton visitors. Ticket prices are $37 for those at least 4 feet tall and $34.99 for those under 4 feet and over 61 years old.

Palace Theatre Big Band to perform

BLUFFTON, Ohio—Tickets are available for the next performance in the 2014-15 Bluffton University Artist Series, by the Palace Theatre Big Band at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in Yoder Recital Hall.
