Dean Altstaetter Friday's performer at The Inn at ONU "JustJazzInn"

Dean Altstaetter is the performer for the Friday, Aug. 1, “Just JazzInn,” at The Inn at ONU, Ada.

“Just JazzInn” is a regular Friday feature at The Inn at ONU. You can enjoy live music while taking part of the appetizer buffet. The live music, performed by area musicians, takes place in the Inn’s lobby or courtyard.

Call 419-722-2500 to make reservations, or first come/first serve for the weekly event.
The appetizer buffet opens at 5 p.m. each Friday. Live music is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Friday/Saturday Dinner Features at Mustard Seed

Barbacoa Beef Tacos - slow-roasted brisket in a sauce of chipotle peppers, cilantro, onion, garlic and lime, served in corn tortillas with our own freshly-made salsa cruda and hand-shredded sharp white cheddar. Served with a side of Mexican Red Rice and limes. Pair with Inversion IPA or a glass of Reserve de Bon Pas Cote-du-Rhone.

Explore Bluffton, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce visitors' guide to our community, is now in a flipbook form.

VIEW THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.

The 46-page visitors' guide was released in print form this spring. Its print form is aviailable free from any chamber member, or the Bluffton chamber office. Printed copies are distributed to area hotels, area county visitors' bureaus, all Bluffton University parents who visit campus and to groups who meet in Bluffton.

Here's what's happening this month at the Bluffton Senior Center

Looks like a busy month at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.

The monthly dinner meeting features the brother and sister team of Kate and Ryan Strickler. The piano duo has performed at the center during a mid-week event and according to Tonya Meyer, “We were so impressed that we booked them for our dinner meeting.”

Lonely petunia

It's not in an onion patch, but this is truly a lonely petunia. It's a stray from one of the downtown petunia pots placed this spring by Stratton Greenhouses. You'll find this plant in the alley between the senior citizens center and Greg's Pharmacy.
