Blanchard Valley Hospital among Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2024

Findlay, Ohio – Blanchard Valley Hospital has been named on Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals 2024 as a Five-Year Champion.

Friday, March 8 was a busy day for Niese Tire & Service Center with ribbon cutting ceremonies at its new Bluffton and Ada locations. Owner Kyle Niese has expanded his Ottawa based business to include a 319 N. Main Bluffton location that opened in January 2024 and a 3032 State Route 309, Ada location that is now taking appointments.

Athletic Boosters host Reverse Raffle Ticket Pick Up Party

The Bluffton Athletic Boosters is holding a Reverse Raffle Ticket Pick Up Party  from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday night, March 15 at Southgate Lanes, 9700 N Dixie Hwy. 

This event is open to the public as well as for all Reverse Raffle ticket holders. 

Organizers note, “It’s a great way to come and support the Bluffton Athletic Boosters along with picking up your ticket for the annual Reverse Raffle which will be held in May.

The March monthly meeting of the Bluffton Ohio Historical Society will be Wednesday evening, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

Heart & Vascular Specialists of Northwest Ohio, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System, is extending its hours at Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau St., to include full-day clinics twice a month.

Some S. Main businesses expect planned power outage in a.m. on March 12

Businesses from First National Bank to Book Reviews Et Cetera expect a planned AEP power outage on the morning of March 12.

The businesses are on the east side of Main, south of Cherry Street. Businesses are expected to open at 1:00 p.m.
