Notice from Basinger Plumbing and Heating, rural Bluffton
Ohio has issued an order for all citizens to “shelter in place,” except those in essential jobs.
Our business is listed as an essential business, meaning that Basinger Plumbing and Heating, 3090 Road R, Pandora, will remain open during the coronavirus shutdown, according to Jim Basinger, owner.
The business phone number for service is 419-358-1355.
Sound advice from the U.S. Postal Service: Protect yourself and others. Please follow the CDC recommendation to keep a minimun of 6 feet between you and others while in the retail lobby.
The Hilty Preschool and Childcare Center in Pandora has had to reinvent itself to provide needed services to the community during these unprecedented times.
One particularly difficult change was when the Governor DeWine ordered visitation be restricted to assisted living and nursing home residents.

Bluffton schools posted the following letter to eighth grade parents and guardians. It concerns the now canceled eighth grade Washington, D.C. trip originally planned for this spring. The letter is also found on the school website on the Middle School page
In light of all of the changes that are being made regarding education at this time, I know many of you have had questions regarding the upcoming Washington D.C. trip with our 8th grade student.
