Fireworks and all types of family activities at Saturday's Lions Freedom Fest'
The Bluffton Lions Foundation invites the public to attend the eighth annual Freedom Fest on Saturday, June 30, at the Bluffton University football stadium.
The event kicks off at 5 p.m. with games and inflatables for the kids and hotdogs, popcorn and homemade ice cream for the whole family.
Scheduled entertainment includes Dancers' Elite at 5 p.m. and 5 Miles High beginning at 6 p.m. Live duck races will run throughout the evening and the event culminates with a fireworks show at dusk.
Proceeds from the Freedom Fest will benefit the Bluffton Bike Path project.

June 29 Update: Chicken barbecue will not take place
The chicken barbecue dinner originally scheduled for Freedom Festival will not be available, however hot dogs, chips, homemade ice cream, popcorn and drinks will be available as planned at the stadium concession stand.
Anyone who purchased a dinner ticket may redeem it at the concession stand for items there or ask for a refund.
