Julie Althaus, Sierra Amstutz and Pam Fischbach Junior Fair queen candidates; Tyler Begg Junior Fair king candidate
Four Bluffton High School students who have been active in several aspects of the Allen County Junior Fair during their time in school are candidates for this year's Junior Fair royalty.
Julie Althaus, Sierra Amstutz and Pam Fischbach are Bluffton High School candidates for 2012 Allen County Junior Fair queen; Tyler Begg of BHS is a candidate for fair king.
The students are among 28 students vying for king and queen titles. This year's Allen County Fair takes place Aug. 17 to 25. Candidate interviews have already taken place.
The king and queen are selected based upon involvement in 4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, leadership in their communities, community and volunteer work and school involvement.
