The Bluffton school board has rescheduled its December Board Meeting for Monday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Bluffton Elementary Media Center, according to Paula Parish, school treasurer.
The board also rescheduled the Records Commission for Monday Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. to review the disposal of records as recommended by the treasurer (held in the superintendent’s office.)

Ohio Department of Transportation announced I-75 lane restrictions begin today in Beaverdam. Crews will be moving barrier wall for the winter traffic pattern.
The following highway construction scheduled to occur within Allen County is dependent upon weather conditions.
Interstate 75 in both directions, at the village of Beaverdam, will have daytime lane restrictions (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) to move the barrier wall in the work zone.
The lane restrictions will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 8, or Wednesday, Dec. 9, and continue through Monday, Dec. 11.

BLUFFTON - The host Bluffton boys basketball team raced to a big halftime lead and held off Liberty-Benton 79-67 to win their home opener Saturday night.
The Pirates led a high-scoring first half 49-33 at intermission as Carson Soper poured in 19 points on the strength of four three-pointers.
Trenton Donley also knocked down two triples in the opening stanza as the hot-shooting Pirates built a 27-11 lead. Donley added another triple in the second period, while Trey Boblitt also drained three trifectas before intermission.
