Bluffton University’s May Day Gala Concert will be streamed for viewing at www.bluffton.edu/mus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8.
Under the direction of Dr. Bo Young Kang, director of choral activities, the evening’s theme is “Songs of Love, Songs under Moonlight.”
Pieces include favorites from operas and musicals including: “Don Pasquale,” “Jekyll and Hyde,” “Miss Saigon,” “Once,” “Gigi,” “Cats” and “A Little Night Music.” The evening performance will end with the classic love song “Fly Me to the Moon.”
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1 will shed new light across the region.
A project to install light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires along designated highways and interchanges will begin today, updating the system and significantly reducing energy use.
“The changes will provide more effective lighting at a much lower cost to taxpayers,” said District 1 Deputy Director Chris Hughes.
