March 3
-Police assisted the Highway Patrol with a vehicle pursuit that was SB on I-75.
March 4
-Police responded to a Breaking and Entering complaint at a Thurman St. residence.
March 5
-A S. Main St. resident reported that her live in boyfriend was making threats toward her and had assaulted her in the past.
March 7
- Police were called to an injured deer on County Line Rd that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. Police dispatched the animal due to its condition.
March 8
-A Riley St. resident reported that a neighbor appeared to be intoxicated and was relieving himself in front of his house.
March 9
-A Harrisonburg, Va., resident reported unauthorized charges on her credit card after staying at a local motel.
-Police investigated a suspicious male alongside I-75 on Gratz Rd. The male appeared to be relieving himself in front of the interstate traffic. After catching up with the male in Pandora, a small amount of marijuana was located in the vehicle and Pandora Police are pursuing charges in this matter.
-Police responded to two traffic crashes on I-75 NB for vehicles that had struck a piece of a semi tire that was laying in the roadway.
March 11
-A W. Washington St. Resident reported an unknown person had entered her unlocked vehicle and took money out of it.
-Police responded to the 9000 block of Augsburger Rd in response to a sick raccoon. Officer dispatched the animal due to its health condition.
March 13
-Police responded to a S. Main St. residence in response to a report of a Domestic Violence. Officers arrested Jeremy Ernest, 28, Bluffton for Domestic Violence and he was incarcerated in the Allen County Jail. Mr. Ernest was indicted by the Grand Jury and the case is pending in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
March 14
-Police were called to the Bluffton Middle School in response to an out of control juvenile student. The student was arrested and transported to the Allen County Juvenile Justice Center and charges are pending in Allen County Juvenile Court.
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 block of Cherry St. Christopher Scott, 22, of Vermillion, was cited for Failure To Yield and the case is pending in Bluffton Mayor’s Court.
March 15
-Police responded to a hit-skip traffic crash in the parking lot of a Citizens Parkway Business.
-A N. Dixie Hwy resident reported that an unknown person used his bank account to make unauthorized purchases on the internet.
-A Birch Ct. resident reported unknown persons had caused damage to their property.
March 18
-Police responded to an injury crash on I-75 at the 142 MM.
March 20
-A W. Riley St. resident reported that her son was threatened on Facebook by another juvenile.
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on I-75 at the 142 MM where a ladder came off of a truck and struck the vehicle travelling behind it.
March 22
-Police took a complaint of an unruly juvenile who had not gone to school and was unable to be located. The juvenile returned home as officers were searching for her.
-A Grove-Bluffton Rd. Resident reported damage done to his property by unknown persons.
March 23
-Police responded to a hit-skip traffic crash at the intersection of S. Main St. and College Ave. Officers found damage done to the front yard and items in the yards at 101 W. College Ave. and 204 S. Main St. After a short investigation, Officers cited Mary Lindsey, 83, Bluffton for Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control and Leaving the Scene of a Crash. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
March 24
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 block of Cherry St. where a sign for a local business fell onto her vehicle.
March 27
-A S. Jackson St. resident reported a domestic dispute that had happened the previous day.
March 30
-Officers arrested Stephen Wayne, 23, Bluffton, for Driving Without a Valid License and Driving Left of Center following a traffic stop on W. Riley St. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-Officers arrested Jermaine Talley, 32, Cincinnati, for a driving under a License Forfeiture Suspension following a traffic stop on SR 103 for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
