Police docket for April

April 1
-A Railroad Street resident reported unknown persons had caused damage to his vehicle.  
April 3
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 9000 block of N. Dixie Hwy.  Hannah Bell, 16, Bluffton was cited for Improper Starting and Backing.  The case is pending in Allen County Juvenile Court. 
April 6
-A N. Jackson St. resident reported that a white truck pulling a red trailer had driven into his yard and caused damage to his landscaping. 
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on SB I-75 near mile marker 142. 
April 10
-Police took a menacing complaint from a N. Main St. resident who stated she was receiving threats from the previous owner of a dog that she now had in her possession. 
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 9000 block of Lugabill Rd.  Officers discovered a truck had run into high water on the roadway causing the driver to lose control and strike a tree. 
April 13
- Police arrested Daniel Monday, 50, Bluffton for Persistent Disorderly Conduct after responding to a verbal dispute.       
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the SB 142 Exit of I-75.  While investigating the crash, Officers arrested Heather Hauenstein, 43, Bluffton for OVI and reasonable control.  The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.  
April 14
-Police recovered a stolen motor vehicle in the parking lot of a SR 103 Business.  While looking into the matter, Officers discovered Lamar Fitzgerald, 22, Lima was the person that had been driving the vehicle.  Mr. Fitzgerald was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant out of Allen County and was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor vehicle.  That case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.   
April 15
-Police responded to a noise complaint at a N. Main St. Residence.  Upon arrival Officers were unable to hear anything and were unable to get a response when attempting to contact the person involved. 
-Bluffton Hospital reported someone using false information in an attempt to obtain drugs. 
April 16
-A N. Main St. Business called police to turn in a purse that had been left at the business.  While attempting to locate an owner, officers discovered marijuana in the purse.     
April 17
-Officers responded to a complaint of a fight at Bluffton University. 
April 19
-The owner of a Bentley Rd residence reported that a past tenant had taken personal property from the residence when they moved out.
April 20
-Police arrested Jordan Williams, 30, Lima for Driving Under Suspension following a traffic stop on I-75 for a registration violation.  The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.         
April 21
-Police responded to a private property traffic crash at an Augsburger Rd business. 
April 23
-An E. Elm St. resident filed a civil complaint. 
April 24
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of S. Main St. and Kibler St.  Troy Warneke, 28, Columbus Grove was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and the case is pending in Bluffton Mayor’s Court.  Adrienne Martin, 41, Lima was also cited for DUS.  That case has been dismissed because of a BMV error.      
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of N. Main St. and Elm St.  Police cited John Manning, 47, Collins, OH for Improper Starting and Backing.  The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor’s Court. 
April 26
-Police responded to the Buckeye Park in regards to a male subject lying on the ground near the portable restroom.  After investigating the matter, Officers arrested William Garrett, 63, Bluffton for Persistent Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication.  The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court. 
-Officers responded to an E. Jefferson St. Residence in regards to a well being check on juveniles at the residence. 
April 29
-Police stopped a vehicle driven by Cassandra Croskey, 20, Toledo for driving without headlights on.  Ms. Croskey was cited for Operating in Restriction of a Temporary Permit.  The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.      
-A Kibler St. resident reported that an unknown person had taken a license plate from the trash at his house and had used it while driving in Florida
-Officers responded to a Snider Rd. business in response to an unwanted person on the property.
