There will be something for everyone at the Shannon Theatre. Three movies are starting on Friday, June 7 and playing through Thursday, June 13. One of them even takes place in Ohio.
Fast and Furious (PG13) will be shown every evening at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Epic (PG) will be shown on Saturday and Sunday during the 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. matinees.
Gibsonburg will be shown at 4 p.m on Friday and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Gibsonburg will also be shown on Saturday at 10 a.m.
"Gibsonburg is the true story of a boy's high school baseball team in Ohio that won 6 games and lost 17 games in the regular season. During the regular season, this team lost 13 games in a row and were mercy ruled 7 times. In a magical way, this same team won 8 games in a row to win the state championship! Baseball is the backbone of the film. However, Gibsonburg is much more of a love story coupled with an amazing mystery. Gibsonburg also deals with the real life trials and tribulations of high school students when coming of age." (IMDb.com)
Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn flavor of the month for June is Birthday Cake.
