Used shoe drive at BFR until January 31
This is an invitation to clean out closets, basements, garages of any used shoes or boots or sandals. BFR Sports & Fitness has partnered with Funds2orgs.com to collect used shoes that will be repurposed instead of going into landfills. Shoes are collected by non-profit organizations across the country and then sent to community-based groups around the world to be repaired and resold or dismantled and recycled.
Last year BFR collected over 4,000 pairs of shoes and received more than $1,700 for their efforts. The drive ends January 30 and BFR has collected 2,450 pairs toward their goal of 4,000. Shoes can be in any condition but must be a matching pair. Collection boxes are located in the entry of BFR.
