First Mennonite chancel choir to premiere choral piece during Easter worship service
First Mennonite Church invites the community to attend their Easter Sunday services on April 5. These include a sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. at the west-end shelterhouse of the Buckeye Park, a potluck breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in the church's fellowship hall, and worship service at 10:30 a.m.
During the worship service, the chancel choir -- under the direction of Dr. Mark Suderman, will premiere a choral piece composed by Dr. Peter Terry, “My Heart Takes Wing."
