April 6, 2015
BLUFFTON, Ohio - Trey Everett (Sidney/Fairlawn) continued his winning pays when the Beavers made the trip to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 4. For his work in Delaware, Everett has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. It marks the fourth time that Everett has taken home this honor in 2015, including two outdoor field athlete of the week awards in the last three weeks.
The sophomore won the high jump with a leap of 2.05 meters and claimed the long jump with a jump of 7.0 meters. Everett’s effort in the long jump currently ranks as the top mark in the HCAC this outdoor season.
Competition continues for the thinclads on Saturday, April 11, again at Ohio Wesleyan University, host of the All-Ohio Championship meet.
