Granddaughter of Larry and Ginny Moser is MHCO scholarship winner
Audrey Bowsher is the 2015 winner of the Barbara Fleming Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Bluffton and Pandora (MHCO).
Audrey will graduate from Spencerville High School and Apollo Career Center. She plans to attend Pensacola Christian College in the fall, pursuing a degree in nursing.
She is the daughter of Ron and Cindy Bowsher of Spencerville. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Ginny Moser of rural Columbus Grove and of the late Layton and Ruth Bowsher.
This annual award of $500 provides scholarship support to an individual pursuing a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Barbara Fleming, in whose honor the scholarship is made possible, was a resident of Mennonite Memorial Home from 1997-2000, was trained as a nurse and throughout her life exhibited the caring nature that characterizes the profession of nursing. The elders and staff of MHCO wish Audrey the best as she pursues her calling to serve others through the honorable profession of nursing.
