Boyd Watkins worked for the Village of Bluffton public works department for 30 years
William Boyd Watkins, 83, died Oct. 27, 2015, at 10:54 p.m. at Bluffton Hospital.
Boyd was born April 5, 1932, in Bluffton to George and Agnes (Jones) Watkins who preceded him in death.
Boyd worked for the Village of Bluffton for 30 years in the public works department. He was a member of the First Missionary Church, Bluffton, and was an army veteran.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Rosezella Watkins of Lima and 17 nieces and nephews.
Boyd was preceded in death by three brothers, George Watkins, James Marl Watkins, Bob Watkins; and four sisters, Sylva Suchecki, Anna Wind, Alice Rose Welty and Inez Watkins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Gary Marks officiating. Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery, Mt. Cory following the service.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Memorial Home or American Diabetes Association.
