Blanchard River Watershed Partnership annual meeting Nov. 18
The annual meeting of the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP) will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Hancock Ag. Center, 7868 County Road 140, Findlay.
A continental breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. with the meeting portion starting at 7:30 a.m. The meeting will conclude by 9 a.m. A RSVP is required for breakfast; please respond to [email protected] or call Phil Martin, Watershed Coordinator at 419.422.6487.
The local agencies will highlight their progress with the BRWP. The BRWP will provide updates on watershed programs and projects, elections of board members, recognition of Friends of the Watershed, and displays for viewing. Plans for 2016 will be discussed. The public is welcome.
The BRWP, representing the six counties of the Blanchard River Watershed, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving water quality through developing citizen involvement and watershed action plans.
While not related to the NW Ohio Flood Mitigation Partnership, BRWP works in cooperation with the communities and local agencies on water resources and environmental issues.
