Peace presentation and movie to be shown Feb. 22
Documentary filmmaker, Ellie Bernstein, will host a movie event starting with an informal conversation at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall. Bernstein will show her documentary, “Ghost Town: The Hebron Story,” at 7 p.m.
“Ghost Town,” tells the story of families in Hebron, which is located in the West Bank of Palestine.
The documentary is narrated by Martin Sheen and follows the rise of the settlements in Hebron and how they came to have a major role in the halting and the destruction of the peace process in the Mideast.
The event is sponsored by The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center, PEACE Club, International Connection and the Religion Department. It is free and open to the public.
