Jenera church announces Mornings with Mommy schedule
Mornings with Mommy is a fun and easy way for you to enjoy activities with your infant through preschool age children (ages 0-5 years) and meet other moms.
Dads, grandmas, grandpas, and nannies are welcome, too. These educational play-dates will begin on Monday, Sept. 19, and continue on the first and third Monday of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera.
Advance registration is required online at tlcjenera.org or by calling 419-326-4685. The cost is $5 per family (not per child) per session. Payment may be made by cash or check as you arrive at each session.
There will be age appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Each session will have its own theme, but the basic structure will be consistent. Moms can mingle with each other and enjoy activities with their children including: arts and crafts, sensory table, flannel stories and story time, music, devotion, educational toys, and an infant area.
Children and caregivers may explore these activities at their own pace. At 10:30 a.m. a snack will be served.
The first one, “At the Farm,” will feature a sensory bin with soy beans, picking sweet corn, painting a muddy pig and riding a pretend horse. The session includes live farm animals and a hayride.
The schedule of themes and dates are:
