Bluffton Family Recreation’s winter programming schedule, announced today, offers classes and exercise opportunities for all ages, according to Amy Byers, sports coordinator.
The winter programming is in the “Winter at BFR” newsletter, attached in a printer-friendly format at the bottom of this story. Winter Session II begins on Jan. 8.
Youth class, league play and exercise opportunities include:
• Tennis
• Rookie sports
• Little movers
• Kid’s Yoga
• Basketball
• Open play
• Football basics
A special Pajamas and Pancakes kid’s night out takes place Friday, Dec. 8. Also for youth is a Columbus Crew winter break camp and boys’ and girls’ basketball tournaments.
Winter indoor soccer leagues are also available for youth. In addition, soccer skills, soccer fun and open soccer are available for youth.
Adult class, league play and exercise opportunities include:
• All-star aerobics
• Yoga
• Total body conditioning
• Swim classes
• Adult volleyball league
• Tennis
• Soccer
SilverSneakers continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays this winter. Sessions are at 9:45 a.m. A SilverSneaker breakfast takes place on the last Tuesday of each month.
Adult soccer leagues have two options: recreational and competitive. Open gym is available seven days a week and the schedule is in the newsletter.
