Here's the map of the Christmas lights of Bluffton
Four Bluffton families can claim the best holiday lighting decorations in 2017.
• First Place and a prize of $200 goes to Paul and Vicki Gesler of 347 Sycamore Ct.
• Second Place and a prize of $150 goes to Dave and Jenny Roby of 431 Cherry St.
• Third Place and a prize of $75 goes to Mark and Debbie Dulle of 423 Ethan Circle.
• The Mayor’s Award and a prize of $75 goes to Jim and Sue Kinn of 105 Riley St.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce encourages residents within the village limits to join in the spirit of the Blaze of Lights–and in a friendly competition–by decorating their homes by the first few days of December.
This year, 19 homes were entered in the competition. Prize money is awarded in gift certificates that can be redeemed at chamber member businesses. Members are listed at www.explorebluffton.com/members.
Contest coordinator Bob Inniger, a chamber board member from Citizens National Bank, notes that the homes selected for prizes reflect the variety of decorations within the village, including technical marvels, cutouts inspired by the Ream display, and old-fashioned charm.
Printed copies of the map can be picked up at the Ream folk art display at Main St. and Cherry; and at the Marathon gas station at Main and College.
