Heminger HeartCare provides exceptional care

The Jane and Gary Heminger HeartCare Center, located within Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, continues to be under the national average for “door to balloon” time.

Heminger HeartCare has a “door to balloon” time of 56 minutes. The national average is 60 minutes. This means it takes 56 minutes or less for the team at Blanchard Valley Hospital to re-establish blood flow to the heart muscle.

“We are so proud to offer a door to balloon time that is lower than the national average and to provide elite and quality care to our community,” said Chris Keller, vice president of clinical services and supply chain for BVHS. “Our associates, physicians and volunteers work hard every day to ensure each patient has a positive experience.”

Services provided by the team at Heminger HeartCare include prevention and rehabilitation, noninvasive testing, minimally invasive procedures and open heart surgery. Minimally invasive procedures offered at Heminger HeartCare include cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, coronary stenting and electrophysiology procedures.

Heminger HeartCare features the latest equipment and technology needed to support our skilled cardiologists. The providers performing these delicate procedures at BVHS are all board certified, extremely experienced and ready to care for patients.
