Next week's BFR summer camp theme: Young Scientist
Bluffton Family Recreation’s summer camp is underway.
The camp is designed for youth to join for a week at a time or longer. Registration is always due by the Friday before the next camp week session.
The next weekly session, Monday to Friday, June 17 to 21, has as its theme “Young Scientist.”
Campers will conduct their own science experiments. They will learn how to make slime, rock candy, perform egg experiments and conduct experiments with a chemist.

• Pre-camp hours: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
• Kid’s camp: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Post-camp: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Open to youth ages 5 to 12
• Weekly cost $70 for BFR members; $140 for program participants
• Bluffton Hospital provides lunch for all campers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Pre-School Camp (for ages 3 to 6)
• 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, June 14
• Theme: Lil’ Chef
• Hands-on day of making easy and fun snacks. Campers will learn the important of food safety and nutrition
• $12 for BFR members; $20 for program participants
