Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio has several volunteer opportunities in Bluffton and Pandora, according to Jessica Strahm, volunteer coordinator.

Worship Leader
*Come and lead the worship service
● Tuesday Moring Services starting at 10:30 a.m.

Bingo Caller
Monday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m.
*Need a volunteer who enjoys playing Bingo and has a strong voice. If you would be willing to help for one month at a time, that would be great.
Woodworking
*Need a volunteer to sit with an elder once a week while he enjoys his favorite craft - whittling.
Hilty Home Daycare Race track
*Looking for a volunteer or group who would be willing to install a cement race track for the kids.
Passing Water
*Help elders and staff by delivering cold water between 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. daily.

Seasonal Yard Work
Concert on the Lawn
Sunday, Aug. 18, 5:20 p.m.
*2 volunteers are needed to assist the Maple Crest elders to and from the concert.
Allen County Fair
Thursday Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
*Do you enjoy the fair? So do our elders! Looking for a volunteer to assist elders as they walk around and enjoy the fair.
Puzzle Pieces
Monday, Aug. 26 at 3:30 p.m.
*Looking for a volunteer willing to lead elders in assembling a floor puzzle.
Resident and Family Picnic
Thursday Sept. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. *6 servers needed to help serve supper.
Visits at Maple Crest
* Come make some new friends by visiting with the elders at Maple Crest for 1 hour a week.
Enjoy leading a Bible Study from 4-5 p.m. on Thursdays
Lead the study of the Bible with 10-12 enthusiastic elders.
Available Dates: Oct. 10 and 17, Oct. 24 and 31, Dec. 5, 12
Monday Night Game leader from 7 to 8 p.m.
*Come and play your favorite family game. Uno, Skip Bo and more! Join 3-6 elders who enjoy a fun time.
Dates Available: Aug. 12 and 26
Bingo Caller
*Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 7-8 p.m.

Landscaping
*Assist with keeping the grounds looking lovely for our elders. Shrub trimming, pruning, weeding and more
