Website redesign launched
The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) is proud to announce the launch of the newly redesigned HCAC website, heartlandconf.org, as well as its continued partnership with website solutions partner PrestoSports. The site’s new interface provides visual improvements as well as enhanced convenience featuring website navigation and mobile device integration.
“We are excited to launch the new website. Our new site’s enhancements are geared to better serve our fans and league membership,” noted HCAC Commissioner Jay Jones. “I appreciate the efforts that Stacey LaDew made in getting this redesign to the finish line. This work began several months before Stacey and I began our service to the HCAC, and several of our school’s sports information directors as well as the former HCAC staff provided lots of input and feedback on the new design. I hope that our members and the general public will appreciate the modifications and find the site to be more user friendly.”
Fans will find a sleek new look and modern user interfaces to help them follow along with all the accomplishments and accolades of the student-athletes within the Heartland. In an effort to be mobile-friendly, the new HeartlandConf.orgwill feature a responsive design, allowing automatic device detection of screen size that adjusts for desktop, tablet or mobile device usage for easier viewing and navigation.
"With more and more of our users accessing our site from devices other than a desktop or laptop computer, the switch to a responsive site was needed," Associate Commissioner Stacey LaDew said. "We haven't lost any of the features our fans are used to, but we have gained the ability for our fans to utilize the complete website from any device. The team at PrestoSports has made this a very smooth process and we look forward to our continued partnership."
The updated site will continue to provide news releases, game recaps, and general information about the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
