PromoHits accepting nominations for PromoCares Program
PromoHits Ltd., Bluffton, continues to commit to donating 5% of its total product sales to local charities through its PromoCares initiative, according to Melinda Bowen, owner.
To date, the program has generated $26,866.50 with two months left to go in 2019.
“We are grateful to our clients who have supported our desire to help others and, through their orders, have assisted us in helping eight charities who are making a difference in the lives of so many,” said Bowden.
To date PromoCares has:
• helped to alleviate poverty and locate permanent housing for the homeless
• given support to victims of violent crimes
• fed the hungry
• provided a warm place for the homeless to come in from the cold
• given hope for a cure for cancer and support to cancer patients
• helped special needs individuals with the cost of therapies
• improved the quality of life for the disabled through equine-facilitated activities and therapies
• provided a home away from home for families who have traveled for their children’s medical care
“We have accomplished much together this year and we look forward to extending a helping hand throughout 2020!” said Bowden.
The program will seek nominations for charities within an approximate 60-mile radius of Bluffton to receive the proceeds for the first six months of 2020.
Anyone may nominate a charity, and the nominating person does not have to be associated with the charity.
PromoHits will announce the chosen charities on Dec. 20, 2020. Nominations will be accepted from Nov. 18-22 only through the PromoHits website.
“PromoCares isn’t just about giving monetary assistance. We also want to share information about the charities and those they serve with our clients and community.
Becoming aware of available services may be able to help them or someone they love one day. And, hearing the good that is being done all around us is so wonderful. It’s a great feeling to know we are a part of that.” explains Bowden.
