MIDDLE POINT - Host Bluffton whipped winless Lincolnview 55-38 in Northwest Conference girls basketball action Thursday night.
Bluffton led 13-9 after one period and 25-16 at halftime as senior post Libby Schaadt scored 16 of her game-high 22 points.
The Lady Pirates outscored the Lancer girls 30-20 after intermission to win going away.
The win upped the Pirate girls record to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in NWC play. Meanwhile, Lincolnview fell to 0-14 and 0-4 in the NWC with the loss.
Bluffton junior guard Laykin Garmatter contributed 18 points as the other Pirate girl in double figures.
Kendall Bollenbacher led the Lancers with 11 points.
The Bluffton girls canned 21 baskets, including 18 two-pointers and three goals from three-point range. The Pirate girls converted 10 of 12 from the charity stripe (83 percent).
The Lancer girls sank 15 field goals, with 13 deuces and two three-point baskets. Lincolnview converted six of nine at the foul line (67 percent).
