MHCO accepting admissions at all campuses
All Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio campuses (Mennonite Memorial Home, Hilty Home, Maple Crest and Willow Ridge) are now accepting COVID-negative admissions directly from the community and local hospitals.
Advancements in access to resident testing and personal protective equipment have allowed MHCO to admit elders directly from the hospital, their home or another long-term care campus once again.
Even during a pandemic, MHCO is dedicated to “meeting the mission” by continuing to provide comfortable housing and compassionate care in a place where elders can live joyous, rich and purposeful lives.
“We are pleased to be able to accommodate community residents and families with direct admissions to all campuses,” said acting COO, Elizabeth Kelly.
“We appreciate people’s patience and commitment to MHCO during the past few months.”
The afore mentioned advancements, along with the day-to -day safety measures related to isolation protocols, employee/resident screening, and cleaning/ disinfection help MHCO to provide as safe of an environment as possible.
The recent deficiency-free COVID-19 survey results for all three MHCO skilled nursing facilities show the level of care put into following these infection control guidelines.
