The only thing that changed is the name
Bluffton, Beaverdam and Richland Township is now part of the United Way of Greater Lima.
Funding of each of the previous Bluffton-Beaverdam-Richland Township United Way programs will continue to be supported in this new effort.
Area residents received a post card this week spelling out the traditional Bluffton organizations with continued support by the United Way reorganization.
Those familiar organizations follow:
• American Red Cross
• Bluffton Child Development Center
• Bluffton Community Assistance Program
• Bluffton Community Preschool
• Bluffton Family Recreation
• Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary
Blanchard Valley Health System
• Bluffton Senior Citizens
• Boy Scouts of America
• Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
• Bluffton Weekday Christian Education.
Gifts can continue to be designated to the agency of a donor’s choice. The United Way of Greater Lima services 33 partner agencies and 38 funded programs, impacting approximately 20,000 persons.
