Quarry Farm invites you on a Saturday spring sparrow hike
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm will conduct a spring sparrow kike on Saturday, March 20, the first day of Spring 2021.
Beginning at 10 a.m., participants will look for the earliest spring wildflowers. As March 20 is also World Sparrow Day, hikers will see how many different species of sparrows can be spotted and submit our findings to ebird, one of the world’s largest biodiversity-related science projects.
Register by 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, by calling 419-384-7195 or by emailing [email protected].
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required out of respect for everyone present. Admission is free and no registration is required. Tax-deductible donations are welcome.
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, is located 1/8 mile north of 14321 Road 7L, Pandora.
