Bluffton track competes at O-G meet

OTTAWA - The Bluffton boys track and field team finished fifth at the annual 10-team Ottawa-Glandorf Gold Medal meet Friday evening.
The Lady Pirates came in eighth out of nine squads. Liberty-Benton edged Oak Harbor for the girls team crown. Meanwhile Van Wert out-pointed second-place Oak Harbor for the 10-school boys title.
Wyatt Lovell tied for first place in the high jump to post the top Bluffton finish. Eden Antrim also came in second in the boys 1600 meter run.
Brianna Taber (pole vault) and Elizabeth Wright (shot put) each recorded third-place finishes for the top Lady Pirate individual results.
