Bluffton girls 4th at sectional, to play Continental
The Bluffton High School girls basketball team was voted the fourth seed at the 14-team Div. IV Van Wert district seeding meeting Sunday, January 30.
The Lady Pirates (14-5) will face Continental (2-13) at a site TBA Thursday, February 17 at 5:30 p.m.
The winner will face the victor between fifth seed Kalida (9-9) and 13th seed Fort Jennings (2-14) Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
That sectional second round survivor advances to the Van Wert district semifinals Thursday, Feb. 24, likely against second seed Columbus Grove (13-5).
The Van Wert district finals are Saturday, Feb. 26. Miller City (13-3) was voted the number one seed. Leipsic (12-5) was seeded third.
