Pirate spikers lose 1st match at Elida

ELIDA⎯The visiting Bluffton High School volleyball team dropped a three-set non-league match at Elida Monday evening, August 29.
The Lady Pirates fell to 3-1 with the 26-24, 25-17, 25-21 defeat. Elida improved to 4-2 after the win.
Abby Christoff topped Elida with seven kills and four blocks. Olivia Hollstein also smacked seven kills. Addysen Sneary doled out 24 assists and added four blocks.
Bluffton hosts local WBL rival Shawnee (2-1) Tuesday, Aug. 30. The Pirates then entertain non-league foe Defiance Ayersville (1-2) Thursday, September 1.
