The first of three Advent services at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30.
"Did you ever wonder what it was like to be a believer before Jesus came to earth as a child in Bethlehem? We will hear God's promise given to His Old Testament people and study the history behind the promises that God gave to His people." The sermon's theme, based on Genesis 26:1-6, is "Where was the Prophecy Foretold?"
There will be a spaghetti meal before the service, beginning at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend the meal and the service. More information is at http://tlcjenera.org/.
The church is handicapped accessible. The service is live streamed and archived.
