Pirate baseball blanks Ada

The Bluffton High School baseball team shut out local rival visiting Ada 9-0 at home in a Northwest Conference game Thursday evening, April 13.
Bluffton improved to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in the league after the win.
Columbus Grove and Lincolnview are tied atop the league with the Pirates at 2-0.
Ada fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the NWC with the defeat.
The visiting McComb baseball team edged Bluffton in a 1-0 pitcher’s duel Tuesday evening.
The Pirates bounced back to out-slug Ottoville 14-11 Wednesday evening.
Bluffton improved to 4-4 overall with the non-conference win.
Ottoville dropped to 1-6 with the loss. The Big Green won their first game Tuesday 10-0 over Continental on a one-hitter.
Bluffton plays at Miller City (5-6) on Friday.
