Community members are invited to join a Bluffton University band or choir
Are you interested in continuing to play an instrument or sing in a choir? Bluffton’s music department offers several options to continue your involvement in music and community participation is welcome.
Concert Band
- No audition
- Rehearsal time: 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays
- First rehearsal/organizational meeting: 4 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 29
Pep Band
- No audition
- Brass, woodwind and percussion
- Play at selected home basketball games
- Organizational meeting: 4 p.m. Friday Sept. 15
University Chorale
- No audition
- Rehearsals: Noon to 12:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- First meeting: Noon Monday, Aug. 28
Camerata Singers
- Audition required: Contact Bo Young Kang to schedule
- Rehearsal times: Noon to 12:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays
Practices and meetings will take place in Mosiman Hall’s Gilliom Room. Instruments are available to those in need. Contact Roy Couch at [email protected] for more information about band opportunities and Bo Young Kang at [email protected] regarding choir.
