Bluffton girls soccer blanked by unbeaten O-G

The Bluffton High School girls soccer team ran into a buzzsaw at undefeated Ottawa-Glandorf in a non-conference match Thursday evening, September 21, at Titan Stadium.
O-G built a 4-0 halftime lead and rolled to a 7-0 victory.
The Pirate girls fell to 7-4-1 overall with the defeat. The Titans improved to 11-0 after the lopsided win.
Titan Makenna Siefker authored a hat trick to pace the offense. She tallied in the 15th minute to open the scoring, then netted goals in the 40th and 41st minutes.
Delaney Duling scored in the 23rd minute, while Mackenzie Recker found the net three minutes before halftime.
Myka Aldrich (47th) and Emma Heringhaus (54th) added the last two Titan goals.
Bluffton got off just one shot on goal, while O-G put 13 of its 24 shots on target.
Pirate keeper Kynzie Ewing made five saves in goal, while Ellie Hartzler added one stop. Titan keeper Karsyn Erford made one save.
The league-leading Pirates (4-0 NWC) host local rival Ada (1-2 NWC) Tuesday, September 26 at 6:45 p.m.
