SWIMMING AND DIVING: Swim and Dive opens season at Anderson
ANDERSON, Ind.__The Bluffton University women's swimming and diving team kicked off its 2023-24 campaign in style, defeating Hanover College at Anderson University on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023. The men took third at Bennett Natatorium. 

FOOTBALL: Hanover shuts down Bluffton 21-0
The Bluffton University football team struggled to move the ball in a 21-0 loss to Hanover College on Saturday, Oct. 7. Bluffton fell to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the Heartland Conference, while the Panthers improved to 4-1 and 1-1 in the HCAC.

MEN’S SOCCER: MSJ rolls to 4-2 victory over Beavers
CINCINNATI, Ohio__The Mount St. Joseph Lions rolled to a 4-2 victory over Bluffton University on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Bluffton fell to 5-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Heartland Conference, while MSJ moved to 2-9 and 1-2 in the conference.

Meyer sends Beavers to 2-1 victory over Franklin
The Bluffton University men's soccer team bounced back from a tough loss at Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday night, scoring with just over five minutes to play for a 2-1 victory over Franklin College on Saturday, Oct. 7. Bluffton upped its mark to 6-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the Heartland conference.

WOMEN’S SOCCER: MSJ scores late for 2-0 shutout at Bluffton
The Beavers went toe-to-toe with the class of the Heartland Conference on Wednesday night and came up just short as Mount St. Joseph needed over 70 minutes to crack the scoreboard. The Lions scored off a corner and then used a free kick to put it away with a 2-0 victory over the Beavers. Bluffton dipped to 2-8-1 overall and 0-3 in the Heartland Conference, while MSJ upped its mark to 5-4-2 and 3-0 in the HCAC.

Beavers notch 2-2 tie with Franklin
Playing at home, the women's soccer team held on for a 2-2 tie with Franklin College, earning its first HCAC point on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. Bluffton improved to 2-8-2 overall and 0-3-1 in the conference, while Franklin moved to 2-6-5 and 1-1-2 in the HCAC.

VOLLEYBALL: Anderson sweeps Beavers in HCAC matchup
ANDERSON, Ind.__The Bluffton University volleyball team fell at Anderson University in straight sets on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Bluffton slipped to 5-16 overall and 0-2 in Heartland Conference play.
