WOMEN’S GOLF: Bluffton opens fall finale with 351 at Wittenberg
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio__The Bluffton University women's golf team just beat the darkness, finishing day one of the Wittenberg Fall Classic with a 351 on Sunday, Oct. 15. Playing in same-school fivesomes the first nine took nearly four hours, but Bluffton managed to get out in front of the whistle as three schools will need to finish round one on Monday morning before playing the final 18 holes.

Beavers finish 2023 with a 355
The Bluffton University women's golf team scored a 355 on Monday, Oct. 16, capping off the 2023 portion of its schedule. Bluffton finished the Wittenberg Fall Classic in 6th place following a 36-hole score of 706.

FOOTBALL: Stoner runs for 295 yards at Rose-Hulman
TERRE HAUTE, Ind.__The Bluffton University football team fell 52-28 at Rose-Hulman despite an otherworldly performance from Kainan Stoner (Belle Center/Benjamin Logan) who rushed 38 times for 295 yards. Bluffton fell to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the Heartland Conference, while Rose improved to 4-2 with a spotless 3-0 mark in the HCAC.

WOMEN’S SOCCER: Bluffton earns 1-1 tie at Earlham
RICHMOND, Ind.__The Bluffton University women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie at Earlham College on a beautiful Wednesday, Oct. 11. Bluffton moved to 2-8-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the Heartland Conference.

Beavers fall to Hanover 6-1 on Senior Day
The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 6-1 decision to HCAC-leader Hanover College on a rainy Saturday, Oct. 14. Bluffton fell to 2-9-3 overall and 0-4-2 in the Heartland Conference following the Senior Day setback. The Panthers improved to 10-1-3 with a spotless 6-0 mark in the HCAC.

MEN’S SOCCER: Bluffton holds off Earlham for 2-1 victory
The Beavers broke through with two goals early in the second half and held off Earlham for a 2-1 victory on a beautiful Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023. Bluffton improved to 7-4-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the Heartland Conference, while the Quakers fell to 3-7-3 and 1-3-1 in the HCAC.

Hanover rallies for 4-3 victory
The Beavers scored three goals early in the second half, but Hanover roared back with four of its own for a stunning 4-3 victory on a cold and rainy Saturday, Oct. 14. Hanover improved to 6-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton slipped to 7-5-1 and 3-2-1 in the HCAC.

VOLLEYBALL: Bluffton drops tri-match to Transy and OWU
The Bluffton University volleyball team fell to Transylvania and Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, Oct. 14. The Beavers slipped to 5-18 overall and 0-3 in the Heartland Conference, while the nationally-ranked Pioneers upped their mark to 16-5 and 3-0 in the HCAC. Ohio Wesleyan split and the Battling Bishops stand 16-4 on the season.
