Andreas 2nd team all-district soccer, Hoffer named top assistant

The Bluffton High School soccer teams placed multiple players on all-district teams in voting recently conducted by the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.
Pirate senior Theo Andreas was voted second team all-district.
He was also named Northwest Conference Player of the Year after leading Bluffton to a ninth straight NWC boys soccer title at 5-0-0.
Pirate Jack Brauen was voted honorable mention all-district.
A trio of Pirate girls were named honorable mention all-district by the NWOSSCA.
Seniors Jasmine Hasting and Ella Armstrong, and sophomore Aubrey Burkholder were all tabbed honorable mention.
The Pirate girls soccer team won the NWC title at 5-0-1, and advanced to the district finals. They finished with an 11-7-2 overall record.
Bluffton’s Haley Hoffer was voted Div. III District Assistant Coach of the Year.
Michelle Maag of Ottawa-Glandorf was voted District Div. III Coach of the Year. O-G’s Myka Aldrich as tabbed Div. III District Player of the Year.
