LETTER Bluffton Food Pantry needs continue
Getting a bag ready for Scouting for Food on Saturday, March 9 or considering making a direct donation? Here's a list of needed items from Bluffton Community Assistance, which runs the Food Pantry at St. Johns UCC, 223 W College Ave.
There are plenty of soups at the moment thanks to Souper Bowl Sundays. The donations are appreciated.
There were 30 clients plus in February, so we are seeing a bit of an increase.
Needed items for March:
Please - no products in glass jars
Paper products: TP and tissue. (Paper napkins and plates would be a nice idea.)
Lotions and creams
Soft soaps
Canned fruits
Canned meats
Cereal
Boxed baking items
Baked beans
Spaghetti and spaghetti sauces
ChefBoyArDee anything
Thank you for all the support shown to Bluffton Community Assistance.
Please notify Jami Crawfis or Ed Yeager if projects and large donations are planned. Volunteers have to be lined up to sort items and stock the shelves when the donations are brought in. Thank you so much. Donations are needed before the 3rd Saturday of the month. By the Wednesday before the 3rd Saturday is best.
