The following Bluffton Senior Center travel opportunities were announced in the January 2025 Happenings newsletter.

COACH TRIPS WITH TONYA

HAWAII CRUISE AND LAND TOUR March 6-17, 2025 
We will have a pre-trip meeting on January 16 at 2 p.m. Trip includes a seven-night cruise on Pride of America, Norwegian Cruise ship and four nights on land. Visit four islands, Pearl Harbor, the famous North shore and enjoy a Luau Dinner. Brochures are available in the Senior Center. Level 2 trip. 

AROUND LAKE ONTARIO July 9-16, 2025
We will travel from the Senior Center to New York and we will drive around Lake Ontario counter clock wise. We will cruise between “The Thousand Islands” and visit Niagara Falls. You will need an enhanced driver’s license or passport to cross in and out of Canada. Please bring your ID with you when you sign up. Cost starts at $3,337.00. Brochures available at the Senior Center. This trip is a level 2.

GRAND CANYON & RED ROCKS September 7-16, 2025
Visit six National Parks including Zion and Arches as we tour the beautiful southwest. We will also see Lake Powell, Navajo Tribal Park and Anasazi Indian Village State Park. The trip includes flights, hotels and 17 meals. You will need an enhanced driver’s license or passport to fly. Please bring your ID with you when you sign up. Cost starts at $3,697.00. Brochures available at the Senior Center. This trip is a level 2. 

BUS TRIPS WITH DEBBIE

JERSEY BOYS at LaComedia Thursday, February 20, 2025 Jersey Boys is a jukebox musical. It is presented in a documentary-style format that dramatizes the formation, success and breakup of the 1960s rock 'n' roll group The Four Seasons. Trip departs at 9 a.m. Cost is $106.00 due at sign up. Level 1 This trip is full. We are taking standby.

Indoor Mystery Trip Thursday, March 20th  Join us for a fun day in who knows where doing who knows what. Lunch is included. Bus will depart at 8:45 and you will be home for supper. Cost is $85 due at sign up. Level 2. 

Into the Woods at LaComedia, Thursday, April 10 This musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. A great buffet lunch is included. Cost is $106 due at sign up. Trip departs at 9 a.m. Level 1 

NOAH at Sights and Sounds Theater April 29-May 1, 2025 Enjoy two nights and three days in Pennsylvania. Visit an Amish farm, ride the Strasburg Railroad and see the 30th anniversary production of Noah. Trip includes four meals and a two-night stay in Lancaster, PA. Prices start at $627.00. Brochures available at the Senior Center. Level 2. This trip is full but we are taking standby. 

*NEW* A Taste of Zoar and so much more!  May 15, 2025 Experience life in the 1800’s with a trip to Historic Zoar Village. (Zoar Ohio in Tuscarawas County).  The site of America’s most successful communal settlement.  Zoar remains a living village with a museum complex celebrating its German and Early American heritage.  Enjoy lunch in a school house and sample some Zoar treats along the way!  We will also visit Erb Coleman’s Lantern Museum in Sugarcreek. Experience a guided tour while hearing first-hand stories from Erb himself. Trip departs at 7 a.m. Cost is $95 due at sign up. Level #2 First day to sign up January 16

*NEW* Children of Eden at LaComedia, June 5, 2025 This 1991 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by John Caird is based on the first 9 ½ chapters of the Book of Genesis. The story is the age-old conflict of parents and children through the generations. Enjoy a wonderful lunch and a musical about family and love. Trip departs at 9 a.m. Cost is $106 and is due at sign up. Level #1 First day to sign up January 16

TRIP POLICY
If you want a copy of the Trip Policy, stop by the Senior Center and pick one up. The Senior Center will no longer be able to take credit cards for any trip because of the rising credit card fees. This means that they will no longer be able to take reservations over the phone. All trips must be signed up in person or a check may be sent in the mail.
