Mid-week Lent service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
A mid-week Lent service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Wednesday, March 19, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The reading of Jesus' suffering is from Luke 22:39-54. A sermon by Vicar Eric Fluegge, from Immanuel Lutheran Church of Findlay, will be based on Psalm 51:3-4. with the theme: Recognizing against whom we sin.
Hymns are He Stood before the Court; Before You, God, the Judge of All; and Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted.
A free supper will be served by the Achey family beginning at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the supper and service and the church is handicapped accessible. More information is at www.tlcjenera.org or by calling 419-326-4685.
