Early bird cost through March 15

Seniors Kyler Kinn and Trenton Donley of Bluffton's Northwest Conference champion team were each named first team all-league in voting recently conducted by the league coaches.

Donley and Kinn led the Pirates in scoring this season.

Senior three-point specialist Trey Boblitt was named honorable mention all-league.

The veteran trio led Bluffton to a sparkling 20-2 regular season record.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, a public auction of farmland in Monroe Township, Allen County will take place at the Columbus Grove American Legion Hall, 412 Plum St., Columbus Grove, OH 45830

The auction includes:

32.12 +/- Acres Farmland in the SE ¼ of Section 5 in Monroe Twp., Allen County 

Mixture of Sloan, Blount, Pewamo, Cygnet, and Hoytville Soils, Excellent Frontage on Both SR 65 and Searfoss Roads.

Columbus Grove Schools, Full Possession Upon Closing, Good Farm w/ Excellent Location.

At 7 p.m. on Monday, March 21, a public auction of 164.9 +/- acres, two homes and builidings in five parcels will take place at The Centre at Bluffton, 601 N. Main St.

The auction includes:

- 1½ story home with farmland at 10377 Hillville Rd.

- Brick ranch home on 5+ acre country lot at 10250 Hillville Rd.

- Pole barn, livestock barn, pond and shelter house in Bluffton school district

An open house for homes and land will be held from 4-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022. 

Joyce was born June 2, 1926 in Bluffton, to Charles and Dorothy (Alstaetter) Young who preceded her in death. On  March 19, 1948 she married Richard Hauenstein who preceded her in death on March 15, 2012.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society, and bowled in a league for Hauenstein Plumbing and Heating. She loved to craft, garage sale, thrift shop, bake and cook, and visit the Amish country. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
