Dunking booths are so much fun, and such a good fund raiser, and we are going to have one at the Relay For Life event this year. The thing about dunking booths is you need people to dunk!

Would you be interested in donating some of your time to relax in a dunking booth June 26, at Bluffton University~Ac^a'not^a"cs Salzman Stadium?

You've probably not driven up University Drive near College Hall lately. If you would, this is the site you would see in the parking lot area. A new entrance and elevator is being added to the university's first building this summer.

Here's the up-to-the-minute schedule for this year's first-ever Bluffton Hometown Amerifest. The sponsoring groups are the Bluffton Lions Foundation and its Festival of Wheels, the Bluffton-Pandora Rotary Club and its Freedom Festival, and the Relay for Life Fundraising event.

1844 Swiss Homestead (Alice Lora photo)

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, The Swiss Community Historical Society of Bluffton and Pandora will hold two public events on the last weekend of June.

Saturday, June 26, there will be an open house at the society's newly restored 1843 Swiss Homestead, northwest of Bluffton at 8350 Bixel Road, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
