The Bluffton track and field teams competed at the Liberty-Benton Relays meet this past Friday in Findlay.
Eastwood swept the boys and girls team titles. The Bluffton boys came in sixth out of eight teams, while the Pirate girls finished eighth.
Pirate Aaron Tabler won the individual shot put event. Wyatt Lovell took second in the high jump. Allison Diller also finished second in the pole vault.
The Village of Bluffton and Bluffton Exempted Village School District have announced that they will be closed on Friday, April 8 for the funeral of Bluffton Police Officer Dominic Francis.
At 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2021, a public auction will take place at 10250 Hillville Rd. Bluffton, OH.
Owner is Leiber Trust, Angela Palte, trustee. The auction will include furniture and household goods, as well as a pickup truck, automobile, boat, log splitter and hunting ammo.

The impact made by Officer Dominic Francis of the Bluffton Police Department, who was also a teacher and coach, is being shown in Bluffton, the Cory-Rawson school district and Findlay. An April 1 prayer vigil and vehicle procession were held in downtown Bluffton drawing an estimated 300 participants.
