Daddy-daughter dance
Elsa's winter wonderland ball takes place Saturday, Feb. 22, at BFR. Tickets are $20 per couple for members and $40 per couple for program participants. Each additional daughter is $5.
Bluffton Family Recreation offers two events for youth during the Monday, Jan. 20, Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday.
Soccer camp
Bluffton University women’s soccer players and coaches will host a soccer skills camp from 1 to 4 p.m. at BFR. The cost is $20 for members or $40 for program participants. The camp is open to ages U8 to high school.
Mad Scientist school day out camp
Campers will spend the day performing experiments and having fun through an assortment of games and activities.

A school break camp for youth ages 5 to 12 takes place on Monday, Jan. 20, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The next school break camp is Monday, Feb. 17, Presidents’ Day.
BFR and Bluffton University women’s soccer team host a day camp for players U8 to high school on Monday, Jan. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. Players will work to develop individual and team skills.

Youth programs
Winter Session 3 includes youth classes from Jan. 4 to Jan. 31.
Those include 14 opportunities for youth ranging from soccer, basketball, Karate (for the entire family), Ninjas, tennis, tumbling, “mad” scientist and homeschool recreation.

BFR’s winter newsletter (click here to view the newsletter) lists all the programs available to youth and adults. It all starts with a goodbye to 2019 with a New Year’s Eve party from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The party, a family-friendly event, invites participants to wear party gear and come to BFR for crafts, games, music and dancing to finish with a noon countdown.
