BFR now offers 24-hour access

Bluffton Family Recreation has announced that they are “going 24 hours” starting October 2.

To gain 24-hour access, one must be a member of the BFR in good standing who is 18 years of age or older. Paperwork is available at the front desk of the BFR and a key fob must be purchased for $20. This is a one-time fee unless the key fob is lost or stolen.

BFR indoor soccer registration is open

Team registration is open for four sessions of indoor soccer at Bluffton Family Recreation. Here's the schedule:

Sundays - Adults
Mondays - U12
Tuesdays - U10
Thursdays - HS Boys
Fridays - U8 Coed
Saturdays - HS Girls, HS Coed, U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U12 girls, U10 girls

BFR group exercise schedule

Bluffton Family Recreation has a new group execise schedule including the return of All-Star Aerobics and Yoga. The new schedule begins September 5.

Adult coed sand volleyball all-nighter, September 9

The Bluffton Family Recreation-YMCA and Southgate Lanes are hosting an adult coed sand volleyball all-nighter on Saturday, September 9.

  • Double elimination, best of 3
  • Games to 15 straight (no win by 2)
  • Maximum 3 men/team
  • Limited spots
  • Deadline to register September 5
  • $100/team

Start time will depend on the number of teams; probably 5:00-6:00 p.m. Ages 18 years and up.

BFR adds morning and evening childcare

Bluffton Family Recreation has announced that it is now offering morning and evening childcare for members coming into the building to workout. Adults must remain in the building while children are in the kids room.

Please register 24 hours in advance. If no children are registered, no staff will be available. Space is limited.

BFR 3-4th grade volleyball signups until Aug. 27

Sunday, August 27, is the deadline to register a 3-4th grade team for volleyball.
