Presentation part of a series on campus

Dr. Gerald J. Mast, professor of communication at Bluffton University will present “What Suffering Martyrs Teach Us about Christian Mission: Lessons from the Passau Songs of the ‘Ausbund,’” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8 in Marbeck Center’s Kreider Room. 

Bluffton alumna to speak about science and inequity

Dr. Andrea Motto ’97, manager of public and youth engagement at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, will present the Alumni Forum, “Privilege, Resilience and Equity in Science Education," at 11 a.m. on Oct. 10 in Yoder Recital Hall.

University concert band performance Oct. 8

Bluffton University will host a concert featuring its Concert Band at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in Yoder Recital Hall.

The performance, part of Homecoming weekend activities at Bluffton, is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken for music scholarships during intermission.

Insight into the future

Bluffton senior explores neuropsychology during summer at Harvard Medical School

Kala Jilani-Pritchett, a Blufton University psychology major from Dayton, took part in an experience this summer that offered insight into her future.

Jilani-Pritchett, alongside other college students from across the country, spent a month at Harvard Medical School exploring the areas of neuroscience and neuropsychology, sciences involving the study of the brain.

“I ran across this program, and it was exactly what I wanted to do,” she said. “It opened a door that I didn’t know I could open.”

Men's Soccer drops 3-1 decision at Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's soccer team dropped its HCAC opener at Earlham College by a 3-1 count on Saturday, Sept. 30. Bluffton slipped to 0-9 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC, while Earlham improved to 1-8 and 1-0 in the Heartland Conference.

Women's Soccer falls to Earlham 2-1

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision at Earlham College in the HCAC opener for both squads on a beautiful Saturday, Sept. 30. Earlham improved to 5-5 and 1-0 in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton fell to 1-8 and 0-1 in the HCAC.
