For 2007 graduate Jenna Liechty Martin, living a life of wholeness and joy is only possible in community, a community not just comprised of people. 

“There’s no such thing as living our best lives without cultivating healthy and just relationships with the land and soil we inhabit, because without land and soil there’s no life to be lived,” Liechty Martin, explained during her Nov. 19 Forum presentation at Bluffton University.

Andrew Renner leads Bluffton with 24 points

The Bluffton University men's basketball team traveled to Hiram College for a Thanksgiving Eve matchup with the Terriers on Nov. 27.

Three Beavers notched double figures in the scoring column which helped propel them to a 76-61 victory over the Terriers. Bluffton improved to 3-2 overall while Hiram fell to 2-4 on the year.

Heidelberg falls to Bluffton 70-65

The Bluffton University women's basketball team welcomed Heidelberg University to Copeland Court on Nov. 26. Bluffton held off The Student Princes for a 70-65 victory.

The Bluffton University men's basketball team played host to Heidelberg University on Saturday, Nov. 23, in a non-conference matchup. The Beavers controlled the game from the get go, only allowing Heidelberg to take the lead once in a 68-56 victory for the good guys. Bluffton improved to 2-2 overall, while Heidelberg fell to 1-3 on the season.

The Bluffton University women's basketball team traveled to Oberlin College on Saturday, Nov. 23, for an early afternoon matchup. The Beavers secured a tight 87-85 victory over the Yeowomen in overtime. The women kept their undefeated streak alive at 3-0 following the victory.

Bluffton University will present its 124th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in Yoder Recital Hall. While tickets are free, seats must be reserved at http://tickets.bluffton.edu or at Marbeck Center.
